Enjoy an evening on our roof top garden (during nice weather seasons). For up to 10 guests.
Available Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings.

Bistro 185 is available for custom events such as private chef dinners for up to 10 people, cooking classes, special occasions, wine dinners and more. Available any weekday (not available Fridays or Saturdays). If you have a special request or idea for a dining event, please ask. We love to tailor events to guests wishes.   • North Union Farmers' Market Garlic Festival
    September 12 – 12:00pm - 8:00pm
    Shaker Square
    Join us at Cleveland's first festival celebrating everything there is to love about the humble but mighty garlic! We'll be among the local restaurants serving up delicious dishes featuring garlic — ours will be French-Fried Garlic Chips on Lobster Ravioli with Laughing Bird Caribbean White Shrimp!   • Muttsquerade Ball, sponsored by Dogs Unlimited Rescue
    September 19 – 5:00 - 9:00pm
    Moxie The Restaurant, 3355 Richmond Road, Cleveland, OH
    Look for us at this fundraiser for Dogs Unlimited Rescue, hosted by Fox 8 News in the Morning anchor Stefani Schaefer and featuring live music by Cleveland's own rock legend Michael Stanley, a silent auction, and a magnificent spread of food from area restaurants. Our contribution will be Fall Corn Pudding with Pancetta and Sautéed Laughing Bird Shrimp. Tickets $100 each. It'll be a barking good time!
  • American Liver Foundation's Flavors of Northeast Ohio
    September 27 – 6:00 - 10:00pm
    InterContinental Hotel, 9801 Carnegie Avenue, Cleveland, OH
    At this unique and creative culinary event, premier regional chefs (including us!) will each prepare, tableside, a signature five-course gourmet dinner, complete with wine pairings and distinctive décor, for a table of ten. Nowhere else can you witness firsthand culinary experts creating a menu personally for you!
  • The Coit Road Farmers’ Market Taste of Autumn 2010
    Monday, October 4 from 6:00 to 9:00pm
    Beachland Ballroom, 15711 Waterloo Road, Cleveland, OH 44110
    Taste the harvest from local farmers prepared for you by ten local chefs including Bistro 185, Greenhouse Tavern, Grovewood Tavern, Angela-Mia Pizza, Go Bistro, Umami and private chef Eric Wells. In addition to the food, you’ll hear live local music and enjoy meeting others interested in local food. The farmers are donating the ingredients, the chefs and musicians are donating their talent to support the Coit Road Farmers’ Market. Your ticket purchase or donation supports the market.   • The March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction
    November 22 – 5:30 - 9:00pm
    Embassy Suites Cleveland Rockside, 5800 Rockside Woods Boulevard, Independence, OH
    Sample specialties from Northeast Ohio’s finest chefs – including us! – and varieties of fine wines from across the country at this fundraiser for the March of Dimes.
    The March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auctions are held in over 200 cities across the country. This is a unique and fun dining experience where top local chefs present their signature dishes in a tasting format. Since the first Chefs Auction in 1989, these events have raised more than $89 million to make sure that all babies are born healthy.
  • Market Under Glass 2010
    An evening of unlimited food and assorted drink from over 50 of the finest restaurants and beverage purveyors in Northeast Ohio! Proceeds benefited Harvest for Hunger, a program of the Cleveland Foodbank. Visit Event Website
  • The American Cancer Society, 2nd Annual Dining at the Diamond
    Benefit at Classic Park in Eastlake.
  • North Union Farmers Market Spring Benefit
    Bistro 185 along with 25 other outstanding Cleveland restaurants served samplings of their terrific food for this great cause. Bistro 185 served Lobster Pot Pie and House-smoked duck breast on potato pancakes with an apple-leak compote.

  • LGBT Summer Restaurant Tour
  • Friends of Annie
    Fundraiser for Annie Chiu, chef / owner of Sun Luck Garden, one of Cleveland’s most celebrated restaurants, who underwent emergency open-heart surgery and whose restaurant was closed during her recovery.
