Ruth and Marc Levine have been in the food business for over 20 years specializing in upscale custom designed catering. They have turned their passion for food into a bistro-style restaurant incorporating many of their popular entrees and appetizers.

The food at “Bistro 185” includes ethnic favorites with a twist and multi–cultural cuisine, from a homey chicken paprikash to Mediterranean style lamb shanks. Featured items change daily based on fresh produce, meats, fish and poultry.

Rooftop Garden
Can't get fresher than roof to plate!
In the warm weather months, Bistro 185's famous rooftop garden grows like crazy! Thanks to our drip irrigation system, we grow a combination of 40 tomato plants – heirloom, choice domestic, etc... When the tomatoes are ripe, the Caprese salads and other tomato dishes are extra phenomenal! Herbs and other veggies like eggplant, squash, and peppers also grow abundanly, and find their way into so many dishes. Cannot get fresher than roof to plate!

Bistro 185 receives thank you from old Plank Farm
We at Old Plank Farm in Windsor, Ohio, would like to thank Bistro 185 for supporting local farmers. This summer, Bistro 185 customers have dined on squash, beans, field greens, eggplant, beets, tomatoes and corn grown in Northeast Ohio.

Why does it matter? Well, think just-picked and free of pesticides and herbicides versus produce raised in a chemical stew by big agribusiness and transported for days if not weeks before it reaches your plate.
